is this server side or computer side? I'm interested in editing the voice.

the sounds are in the half-life.gcf file.. i believe under sound/vox/

The voice in our Server is Diamond he recorded his voice as all the server Voice sounds

if i wanted to replace the announcer, where would i put the modified files?

umm well client side.. steam/steamapps/username/day of defeat/dod/sound/vox/ or whatever
