Bring back old maps!
 

Just want to get an opinion on some old maps I like that we don't play on AvaMods...
We play plenty of Avalanche (duh), colored maps (no, not black...), and hill_classic (boo!), but there really aren't that many other maps we ever play. Some you can vote for, but it never happends!

How about playing some of these maps more often: anzio, caen, charlie, flash, kalt, donner and escape.

How about bringing back some real nice oldschool maps like: chemille, falaise, jagd, kraftstoff, merderet, northbound, saints!!!, sturm, switch, vicenza and zalec!

Thoughts???

if ppl vote no for playing them.. why force them to play them?

caen and charlie= worst 2 maps on the game. caen is a ridiculous campfest.

I feel like northbound and donner get voted on a semi-regular basis -- just not when it's busy; anzio is also voted far too often.

are played regularly, not all but most of those at least a few times a day...

I have no desire to play charlie or caen...

lol me either....but i know the people who played with me two days ago don't either =)

i like most of those, i just wouldnt want to play them say, as much as avalanche. also, i think it depends who the crowd is. usually when charlie or caen gets voted its because some random person is like HEY LETS PLAY CHARLIE! and everyones like YEAH CHARLIE!!! and even though i hate charlie, ill stay because the people make it fun.

I've never had a fun game on charlie...

thats a lie... one time I was being autoslapped by flippy from my old T.U.F comunity... and the same by ozzie from ib... :P long time ago tho...

i love being allied on Charlie. I love taking the left road up behind the lines and reeking havok on the campers. Snipers, MGs, anyone gets the knife in the dark!
Caen is not really a camping map if you have a lot of people, but noone wants to run out in the middle of those large streets to cap flags when there are only 10 people playing because they know they will get sniped w/o backup.
I love Sturm, and the subsequent revamp; Merderet... or is it the other way around? The revamp has the sewers. Anyhow, those maps are fun.
I'm not a big fan of Anzio per-see, but it's something else for a change after Avalanche get's extended three times.
I am in love with Flash, Kalt, Donner and saints though. My favorite DOD map has to be Flash. Not much camping allowed in those small streets and few houses. I don't know if anyone remembers my old [GD] tag, but when "Gross Deutschland" was strong and had our own server, we loved to do bayonette charges down the streets, scareing everyone into backing up franticly and firing wildly until they were hacked up.... of course we would get far until four or five of us were mowed down by MG fire together... it was beautiful! I miss GD :(

i really like doner and saints. we play donner at least once a day. im pretty much always down to put up a vote for whatever map you want so just ask.

omaha classic is a good map when u have a good number of peeps..very hard for allies to win
