FINALLY GOT MINE PRELOADED!!

somehow it took almost 2 days...

and its gonna run so f'n shitty for me...

i get pretty piss-poor fps in CSS, and dod is gonna be harder on my pc then css is.. so its not looking that good lol

OHHH man I got a playable release of dods now.. once my shit is done defraging... I'm gonna check it out.. maybe take some screen shots :P cuase I cant wait till tomorrow to play it.. tonight sounds better...

well damn.. I get a bunch of material errors when maps load.. but i'll play around and see if I can fix any of them... cuase without most of the materials loading.. it looks pretty piss poor lol

ya the fps is pretty low for me... I didnt update my vid card drivers before I took those shots and that was running at 1024x768@100hz, DX9, and all settings maxed out except I had AA turned off & AF @ 4x.. HDR was also fully on..

but you also gotta look at my system:

P4 1.7ghz (the main problem.. holds everything else back)
1024mb RDRAM
MSI GeForce 6600GT 128mb (gDDR3 Ram) @ 550/1100 speeds (tho the overclock doesnt really help since it all gets slowed down by my slow cpu...)

Im prolly gonna have too update my vid card which right now is intregrated. The max Ill buy is 128mb , but I think 64mb would do the trick.

ya they dont use cd keys for alot of things on steam anymore...

but there are plenty of cracked servers running.. you'd just have to put up with downloading a bunch of patches (probably by emporio)

wut kind of servers can you get on without cd keys for source this interest me cause im too lazy to buy game?

you have to play on cracked servers (tho you can use it with a legit hl account i believe but you risk losing the acct..)

and Emporio has already released a patch that covers the latest source/dods update
