a lot of ppl complain bout the gameplay.. its a bit diff.. but I still enjoy it.. plus it just came out.. give valve time to do some tweaking and shit and it should be even better... idk.. I think its good.. well that is when I have a playable fps


the server I always play on is great.. im a regular there and all the admins are real cool with me.. theyll open spots for me to get in and shit.. idk.. chill ppl.. but I dont really know what other servers are like...

yikes, ya its gonna take some getting use to. and about 2 years worth of patches.

what i dont like:

- no slide
- weapons layout
- model movements in general

Mainly, the model movements need a hell of alot of work. It also seems dod source is trying to target a different audience, unfortunately. There is a lot less skill for the average beginner to aquire, to become relatively good at the game. Alot of developers are doing to this to get more people to stay interested. IE counter strike, world of warcraft. I think it will be alot better when some patches come through. Meanwhile, i've been playing regular dod :(.

and the fact the developers put a "report bug" link on the main menu after i\'ve spent $25 on the thing. very professional steam. *clap* .. *clap* ......... *clap*

i love the rocket class on allies... rocket + carbine.. drop the rocket and grab a thompson.. then 2 good guns.. one good at close range one good for longer lol..

Ya, its not THAT bad. I mean, i still say the randomness has to go. the accuracy needs to increase. but id rather spend my time on 1.3 for now.

ya.. ive noticed alot of times.. even using like the kar.. I can be crouched and fire one shot at something and it hits like a foot or two off from where i aimed... and im always like wtf thats gay lol.. but I dont get good enough fps to really use rifles anyway, well unless theres like 10 or less ppl on the server.. then i dont really lag..

but you gotta remember.. when normal dod came out.. it wasnt all that good either.. at that point everyone was really use to, more of less, the way counter-strike was.. which had been out for a little while already... but after a couple patches dod became the best shit.. heh 3.1b i miss you...

but whatever lol.. ive been playing source enough now that it seems almost \'normal\' lol and im used to it for the most part.. but now when i go and play dod i cant stand it.. one its super fucking ugly lol.. and i also cant kill ppl lol.. even with garand.. i was embarrassed lol...
