i keep getting this error when i start steam. it just shuts down on me after like a minute. all i did was load steam then update dod, that's it. anyone know a solution?

rofl, gotta love steam. try the steam forums for that. or reinstall steam.

I called valve about buying dod:s, took them 5 days to reply :eek:

ya re-installing isnt hard.. just like make a copy of the steam folder.. so you dont have to download the gcfs again and lose settings and shit

i did, it still fucks up.

i'll reinstall a few more times, i'ma bring it up to steampowered.com, even tho they don't run shit over there.

do you guys use custom skins? that might be a reason... i haven't changed my skins since i stopped playing... which was the beginning of summer

nah I dont use custom skins, I think il get some custom xhairs though

i use like custom everything almost for DOD lol..

but not custom skins for steam.. i heard that messed shit up lol

yea, dod, that's what i meant.

i did a clean reinstall with no skins loaded or anything, same shit happened.

something else i found... a little outdated but was a reported bug when steam3 or whatever was a beta... might have something to do with it...
