How do I find out the Max out put of my power supply with out opening my case
Or the Power supply for this |
well since you gotta open it up to put the card in.. why not open it up now to see the power supply..
just open the damn thing lol.. otherwise theres really no way of knowing exactly what the power supply is |
isn't it a dell or something?
|
yes that what the picture says, I dont know lol I just dotn wanna fry it or anything with the touch of a finger lol, should I wear rubber gloves:D
|
open it up... takes 4 secs MAX. Anything longer then 4 secs, will consider u retarded.

really only need (or should use) one when changing hardware and stuff.. but i usually dont use one myself, as long as youre touching the metal of the case with one hand youre fine.. and even if you dont lol, you'll most likely be fine |

You can look up your service tag (serial number) at support.dell.com and it can tell you what your original configuration is and it can also scan your current hardware to tell you what it is.
|
Wow I forgot about that lol , I think I dit it one time to find out what type of buses I had well thanks but I guess I dont need to now lol:D
|
i'll come to it for you hawkeye....
but im bringing redrocket cuz he wants to MEAT you. |
um gay?:-O
|
yes he is.
|
Should be fine without the grounding strap. Haven't used one in 15 years and only once lost a part...
|
p.s. Thanks to whoever fixed whatever the problem was that prevented me from accessing the forums.

personally i prefer evga for videos cards, but i dont think it would make any difference in this case... plus what completely throws that argument out the window is the fact that the BFG one you linked has active cooling and the evga has passive.. if you plan to play any games, you should stay away from passive cooling.. my backup card (a cheapo 7300 i believe) has passive cooling and it works fine for everyday stuff but it gets real warm when playing games or doing anything that pushes it.. so if it was my decision i would get the 6200 OC |
Alright thanks , appreciate it
|
woohoo its here:D, oh and what type of RAM do i get? , just saw 512 mb of ddr ram for 20$ ,dont know what my mobo needs tho
