anyone that thinks that just about anything either candidate says is going to actually happen is clueless to reality... first off the president isnt really calling the shots, thats basically all congress.. 2nd, they all say the same thing basically and rarely does any of that stuff actually happen cause once they get in office they realize (tho they probably knew all along) that they cant do everything they thought they could and theres always too much red tape anyway
either way the economy is still going to be fucked and there isnt truly anything a president can do on his own to correct it, especially not in any short period of time.. and no matter what, taxes are going to go up.. they always do and always will.. especially with the fucking debt we're in now.. no thanks to the republicans method of insanely large no-bid private contracts in iraq for companies that they are part of.. GG trillions of dollars in their own pockets, but 99% of politicians are going to be doing something or other that will benefit themselves in one way or another, its unavoidable when you put people in a position of power over others
i always looked at the president as being like the front-man of a band.. they're just there for the ppl to see etc etc, they aint shit without the people working behind them (hence why lots of solo careers are a fucking joke lol) and 90% of the time they dont even write their own songs or anything.. theres lots of good bands that people really believed were real and legit till they found out how truly fake they were..
