has anyone tried it yet?

Will be picking it up sometime. Hope it plays as well as it looks.

yea im thinking of bying it but i want to know if its worth it. otherwise could i just download it but then youll have to play at "crack servers" wich is less fun :)

Didnt buy it yet , but i heard its great

boycott it! lol (look at the number of servers with BOYCOTT MW2 in their names: Game Server Search, Player Search, Server List, Stats, and Rankings)


but anyway....

no dedicated servers.. only 9vs9 online play (where the game selects who hosts it so the person with best connection cant decide to do it themselves).. and not to mention how they decided to randomly increase the price of the game too


..more or less theyve decided to have the PC version just be yet another lame console port

..and if you read any of the interviews with the devs about it, they basically say they dont care what people want and theyre going to force ppl to play the game how they want it to be played


AND WTF.. NO LEAN??!!! they say the game isnt 'balanced' for lean.. wtf kind of excuse is that

I could care less about lean and i'm not a fan of iron sights in general so I don't hold any high expectations for the cod series. I'll give it a fair shot, but I know i'll still be playing q3 where there's no hiding and people actually have to aim to get a kill. Radar + airstrike is hilarious. :)

the whole deal with the online play is just ridiculous.. but i think they dont give a shit bout their pc based following, cause no ded server and only 18 players is pretty pathetic these days for a game that would otherwise have so much potential

and seeing as how the 'single player' portion is apparently half as long as cod4, the game is obviously geared towards online play...
