hey guys theres a killer festival going on in manchester tennesee...sp? anyways it's called bonnaroo and it has a awesome line up...it's real fun and this will be my 4 th time going......it's in june sometime and it's like 4 days long...heres the initial artist line up..but yeah i just htought people would like to know.... if anyones interested in music festivals this is a really good one

never heard of them or the festival. also i dont think anyone leaves in that region O.o

i live in PA...but it's worth the 13 plus hour drive.... and the roadtrip is half the fun.....as long as you have some herbal supplements to assist you

i went there in 02 and it was awesome. know alot people getting ready to head out there, however not me, my first festi this year will be spring hookah weekend at nelsons ledges.

ya i saw that lineup when it got leaked not to long ago..

but either way, bonnaroo is a heap of trash..


your much better off saving the money and going to 3 or 4 smaller festivals, seeing just about all those bands anyway.. and not have to deal with 150,000 people.. or the 12+ hour wait to get in after driving for a day or two...

ive been going to the gathering of the vibes the past few years as it was like 15minutes from me.. but this year its on the beach in conn.

im gonna try to make it out to the ledges for some fests this year too.. if i decide to do any festivals.. and i know a girl that goes to almost every fest at the ledges each year (she usually goes to 20+ festivals each summer) and i know she's gonna try and drag me there...

but the whole festival scene has gone downhill.. year after year its worse.. too many people there that dont even know the music, too many people who bring bad vibes, not to mention the huge increase in 'bad' drugs at shows (heroin, crack, this past summer i saw a huge increase in ketamine floating around...)

only thing roo has going for it is its stellar lineup every year.. still waiting to see which phish members get added to it.. trey will of course..

roo has def been getting bigger but i don't think it's gotten shittier or more comercialized.....and MTV hasn't bought them out....they actually just purchased the farm they were on so it should be a lot nicer and more organized this year....anyways a smaller festival taht i really like is Camp bisco.... it was in NY last year but i heard it was in pa a couple of times....another festival if bonnaroo is too big

i dont think i could stand 2 or 3 nights of the biscuits lol.. theyre not bad or anything.. just not totally what im into..

but on the other hand.. i could do 50 nights of dark star anytime lol

the fact the police and tool are playing at bonaroo..

signifies the huge changes that commercialization is doing to the festival atmosphere

Last big festival I went to was Donnington monsters of rock with the first kiss combacktour in make up..yeah, that was a while ago.....

nah, the shire of worcester is just like the rest of the uk, but worse :(

over 65% of my town (Malvern) -MOL-VERN- are OAPs and the majority of the rest are indeed chav population... there are a few recreational herb sellers, but there was a chain of arrests and a murder that quietened the whole place down... now there is just my house...and thats the only good place to be.

but I just found out that Camp Bisco is moving up to here (well like 15mins from me) and it'll be on august 16-18th

i was wondering what was gonna be one of the bigger fests since gathering of the vibes moved to bridgeport.. i had noticed a couple smaller fests are going down, more then most years at least.. but the disco biscuits.. thats pretty decent...

tho i really want to avoid the festival scene this year.. but this makes it a bit harder lol.. even tho i dont really care for the biscuits.. there will probably be plenty of other bands.. like sts9 is awesome..

tho the whole 'scene' at camp bisco is quite different then the atmosphere at fests with like bob weir and the like.. :-\

really really really wanna hit a fest with strangefolk, new riders of the purple sage, and tea leaf green.. the three of them were like the top acts of my summer last year heh...


damn looking at festival lineups gets me all worked up :P
