boring game compared to FO3... especially after having played Shadow of Chernobyl, theres just not much thats all that different.. Not to mention FO3 runs way better with settings cranked up

as well as FO3 has way better mods (and im not referring to the DLC, which are pretty good too)


tho i do like the weapon system in stalker, the only thing you can do in FO3 is repair shit... also wish FO3 had iron sights, tho theres mods for it but since i have like 100+ custom weapons im using, its kinda pointless since they wont have iron sights

the atmosphere in FO3 i think is better, clear sky is still pretty good but i think FO3 has it beat

trust me i ve been to chernobyl
though its not allowed to go everywhere...

in clear sky you can upgrade weapons and equips
artefacts are hiden under anoamlies
and monsters are way strooonger than in SC

personally i think the textures in FO3 are slightly better, especially if you upgrade to 2048x2048 textures (tho it tends to be a bittt too much to fit in my video card ram if i do lots of exploring in one session, but maybe one day soon ill upgrade to a card with at least 1gb of ram)


one nice thing i did like with stalker was using Float32 with it, made the lighting so much better.. but it appears that the Float32 website is gone :(
