heh, the muay thai..I had a boyfriend that was from Laos, he was a champion in that sport..It would be so funny to go out to clubs, and guys twice his size would start fights..Of course he ended them very quickly :P They are badass.. for practice he would kick trees with his shins till the tree broke and his shin barely had a mark on it.

*yawns* Should've gone back to doing Taekwondo but I rather be down the pub playing pool. Less effort :)

I bet. The average streetfighters stands virtually no chance against anyone who's seriously engaged in open-minded muay thai. Considering it's designed to be destructive and not artistic. If I remember correctly, they practice on banana trees. Or any such similar tree that has some type of give. You try to kick a 500 year old redwood down and see where it gets you ;0 The objective, of course, is to destroy the nerves in the shin as well as build up extra protection. Amusingly, thailand has the highest rate of shin cancer in the world. Go figure.
