Server advertising
 

Hello all Avamod members

We can't help but notice that in our server (that will remain anonomous) will get players in with the name, "www.avamods.com". Which is not only against our server rules, but is very disrespectful to all those in the server. I could hardly see why you guys would do this... after all I highly doubt you would want people promoting other servers in yours...

We have already kicked this person(s) for doing so a few times, and will result in a permanent ban if ever happens again. All this is doing if giving you guys a bad name by leeching from other servers.

Bartz my new found friend, people with the highly original name "Player" get their name renamed to www.avamods.com by the server. It is hardly the fault of the fine people who run this server that those people with the unimaginative names dont bother changing them!

Hey Brats, im no admin here but i know in the Avamods server, advertising isn't aloud either, and you'll get a auto kick or ban.

Wut happens is when a person comes into the server with the name "Player" or if some one has a name that is advertising for another server or something, the server will automatically change their name to "www.avamods.com" or another array of names.

So these ppl are just some random ppl that are advertising that they played on the avamods server, they are oblivious to wut their name is. None of the regulars or Avamod members are doin it, just some ppl that don't know how to change their name to something else. So you can ban all you want lol.

Maybe you guys mis understood me, this is in OUR server. We have no such mod that changes people names from Player.

well maybe you should take it up with the people coming in YOUR server then

just because they support AvaMods doesnt mean we are telling them to goto your server with their names like that
