Stats stuff...
 

well for some reason the old (main) stats are all fucked up... it seems the script is acting all funky and not exiting properly

you can see the past week or so is like doubled or something

but technically thats ok lol, cause im working on getting the new ones going.. And to speed them up and avoid problems processing all the logs back to november 2005 i installed active perl and mysql on my pc and im doing all the updates locally (since i have all the logs files on one of my hard drives) ...only bitch is going to be migrating the database over to the web sql server (the db will probably be over a gig) but ill worry bout that when the time comes lol..

..but it will only work when i have the mysql server running on my pc otherwise it has nothing to connect to, and ive been messing with the theme here and there when im bored so if things look fucked up.. it'll get fixed

right now theyre up to like early 2007 i think, but im tempted to start them over cause i forgot to set up the weapon weights lol..


oh and buck, apparently the alias code is backwards and isnt going to work right for combining 3 ids to 1 till it gets updated lol.. but pretty sure it will work with 2 ids, so when i start them over.. ill just use the one old id of yours that has the most stats (i think that was the one with like 4500 bar kills..)

well i have the most bar kills on the new server :)

and the stats31 page hasnt updated its showing stats from like a year ago....

yay! ps remove the bar from both sides.. id rather not use it then have other kids take it on me and suck with it.

lol yeah and since im not a webserver and i have a bunch of torrents going.. dont expect it to load fast when it connects at all..

hah well i fucked up the server last night.. i accidently used an integer instead of a float in a plugin and it caused the server to crash everytime someone joined lol.. started around 530am i think.. and i didnt notice till i got up around noon today

so it basically put it in a reboot loop, which created like 900 log files lol.. of which the old stats already scanned and shit.. and since hl only allows 1000 logs per day.. i had to delete them to make room for todays real log files, but the last log state for the stats is at the end of the bad ones, so basically its going to ignore todays real stats..

so yeah, the old stats are fucked for good now.. i could fix it sorta by editing the state file, but idk lol... i dont really feel like bothering

ok making progress lol..

right now ive got it processing the logs for april 2008, so i should be able to get it up to date tonight and then i just gotta export a backup sql file (which will take a while lol) and hopefully that will be done before i goto bed tonight and i can restore that file (will probably be over 1gb) to the real mysql server, which will take even longer then the backup process lol

i spent some more time on the theme and i think im pretty much set with that for now (maybe a few tweaks here and there) but im having a lot of trouble with some stuff as theres still quite a few things that are hard coded in the php files instead of using classes and css and such.. and im struggling to find and modify them

but so far it looks good :-)
