Well now that snipers aren't the issue, i was thinking of new maps. i used to play dod like 4-5 years ago, some of the maps back then kicked ass but are nearly impossible to find. Is there anyway The divine order of the C-drive could somehow hook it up with these maps?? i remember omaha, sicily, and a sweet level that was a huge Dam and it was night out. I know it will prolly be impossible to do this but this is a new idea thread....so theres my idea

i took a look at both sicily and dam maybe like a month ago..

and i as well remember them being really good maps...



but now they seem really shitty lol, like insanely bad lmao.. especially compared to newer maps, since they were like some of the very 1st maps

I have a suggestion that some may have brought up before.

Regarding snipers, at most any team can have 10 people on it. If you break it down realistically *yes I know it?s a game* a 10 man unit would only have 1 sniper. On maps like hill 3 snipers per team is ridicules, it just means 3 people on a team who are camping and contributing very little to their team. Not to say the role of a sniper is superfluous, everyone owes a skilled sniper who is at the right place at the right time. A sniper who actively hunts other snipers, and provides actual tactical superiority instead of selfish camping is priceless.

Now I know there are people who will say instantly "If a sniper is owning your team it just means you suck." That may be true. I will admit it does take a certain degree of awareness in regards to your surroundings to be a lethal sharpshooter. *knifey knifey*

To say its frustrating is a given, to be sniped repeatedly at your spawn exit. If you want to brag about being accurate then drop your scoped k98/springfeild and pick up a Garand, Enfield or K98.

um... yes? snipers are arguably the best class in game :) honestly i've never had a problem w/ n00b snipers. you just deal with them and move on.

Heres an idea, after a person joins the server he/she has 10 minutes to get a score of 1 or it auto kicks them. No more lame campers and losers who do not contribute to their team. A score of 1 isn't a hard thing to do.

bad idea. just let whoever play however they want. campers are annoying and frustrating, but not very hard to avoid or deal with. and personally i think it's just retarded when servers have stupid rules like "you have to have 1 cap for every 5 kills" n'shit like that.

my suggestion is that you should modify the hill map a bit make the scenery bit sunset. After playing first 30 min of the hill, you get either map change to play the hill classic at sunset/evening for 30 min or different map.
honestly I hate the hill classic map.
