Spawn BS on Hill
suggestion for hill classic...since theres no flag in the ally fortress, and since allies spawn pretty much up there too, i think there should be some sort of spawn protection in there.. like on avalanche.. will keep people out of there and cut down on the spawn camp kill issue there. maybe on axis side as well.. if allies get down on that stretch of grass where axis house is..

its kinda difficult with the axis spawn.. cause you can be on the other side (opposite the door) and be on that hill and see in the spawn pretty much..

the unmodified hill had a flag in the fort....but yea just put some hurt things. in places

i got an idea i might try as it should be fairly easy...
but I could make it do mirror dmg.... like have a certain amt of time after spawning that if you get hurt.. the same dmg is done back to the attacker.. that should help a bit.. maybe at least enough to let you cover a little ground.. ill just have to play with the time.. so that you cant get to any flags while still having mirror dmg on |

I think a wall, kinda like the allies fort would be cool, you could also put a tower (also like the allies spawn) so that if somone is in spawn camping areas, you can kill them without alot of risk of geting pwned as soon as you get up there.
I also think the wall should extend out a little further than the house, like halfway down the field, and their would be doors on every side. That way there are alot more places a potential spawn camper would have to look. also, if were gonna have dammage reflection zone, i think it should work both ways. Im geting tired of running up to the flag, seeing somone whos aiming at me, and not being able to kill them while they have a beutiful shot at my face. The same thing applys to the allies spawn, geting shot on the bridge while allies hide in their spawn is realy retarded. Ill edit this post in a little while with some basic outlines of what my plan would look like. that tower consists of brushes and theres no way to modify/add/delete brushes (well ones that arent tied to an entity anyways...) |

I have an idea, lets put a herd of cows in the clearing outside the axis house. Not 2 or 3 like 20 of them. You can shoot them like normal cows and they respawn. So a nazi could crawl around with "cow cover" its better then nothing and its funny.
Tallgrass or cows whatever is easier to add into the game. |

You should be able to press "e" and have the cows follow you and use the "9" key to use them as suicide bombers. That would be fuckin sweeeeeeeet |

True but at least its an edge, plus we would get a warning and be able to locate the person taking out the cows. Where as before we had none.

True, I love the Garand but I'll give it up to help the other team if they are getting beats.
Remember folks just cause the teams are even number-wise don't make them even skill-wise. lets all play like a happy bunch of nazis and allies hell bent on beating each other. |

How about implementing invulnerability as you spawn for short period of time in spawn area for few seconds?

That wouldn't work well here house 1, small hill 1, small hill 2 and maybe even the rock. Are far too close to the Axis spawn.
Bunker 1, Bunker 2, Bunker 3 and Bridge are too close to the Allies spawn. It would be very difficult to hold these positions if we had to defend against an enemy who couldn't be killed. Besides the whole idea of dod as opposed to cs is realism. We should concentrate on plausibility not immunity. |
how about we get the old hill flag setup back soo you can then camp in the allies base..since theres a cap point in there
