Switch hill spawning
How about have Axis spawn in the fortress and alies spawn in the house.
Since Allied weapons are better then axis and the map is favoured towards those in the fort. This could balance out the advantages. |

hmm no i didnt lol.. but when i posted the reply.. your post only said "i have"
so idk lol.. but actually im thinking of making it so spawns swap after each round... shouldnt be hard.. and doing that on 'normal' maps can mess up the spawn protection..but since hill is greatly lacking in that area already it should be a big deal lol... |
True but once someone gets the upper hand and people make it into the house for basement fortress. It'll be a masacure.
another way of evening the map is, putting some tallgrass *like the tallgrass in the map tallgrass* infront of the axis spawn. The area behind the little brick wall, that the axis run out into when they open the door. Its not total cover but at least its a small bit of help when trying to leave the spawn. |
at one point i put a whole bunch of bushes right outside the door in that open area.. but it didnt really help at all.. lol

well at the current setup, theres one bush. I can say its better then nothing.
But I'm talking about filling the clearing with tallgrass. I think that would be very useful. |
