custom maps...
 

ok what i want this thread you all to do with this thread is list any custom maps you'd like to see on the server.......

i WONT (most likely) be adding these into the normal end of map vote.. but they can still be voted on..

say i add dod_sexymapname

you'd start a vote by either:

in console:
in chat:
and as i stated in another thread.. ill be getting a maplist together & probably adding a command ingame to list all the available maps..

but untill then lol.. i'd just like to get some maps you'd all be interested in at least having available on the server (and 99% chance they will NOT be modified as i dont have that kind of time or motivation anymore)

tho I'd happily replace tallgrass or hill for paintball...:D

an all out slaughter map would be nice.. such as the yard or mcdonalds.

u could always throw some old school CS maps on im not a huge fan but every once and awhile they r nice ...Dust2 (much better then d1 for dod)...aztec,Militia...Murky2(small)...Beefbowl is alota fun...Snow

i really wish i could remember the name...but back in the day i used to play a map on DoD..and it was like a Dam or something..it took place at night..and it was pretty fun...if anyone has any idea of what map i'm talking about..you should put that map up...

dod_dam_classic is on the server now...

but be warned... when i 1st played it i couldnt believe how shitty it seemed.. but when dod came out it was a great map lol.. theres another one i remember i loved but when i played it recently.. it was shit.. might have been sicily...

nevermind i'm an idiot... i just went and checked the custom map list ( like i should have done to begin with) and i found it

ps tiger was giving me an error the other night...don't know if that was fixed or not

i dont think i fixed any thing with it..


only map i fixed stuff with so far i think was legoland2 i guess the apache webserver is case-sensitive.. so the map was looking for the same file but with different cases (like it calls some files in all CAPS and also the same files with no CAPS...) so i just had to duplicate the files for that..

or is saying 'it crashes the server' your excuse for kicking everyone when they own you?

I think I've given krissi all the files that were made when I compiled my latest version of the map... if they're needed for server loading... it'd be nice to have a public testing on avamods if pos :D
