Forcet Particle FX Plugin Not Working
Just that, the plugin isn't working. I just spent a few hours looking at it and messing around with it to no avail. Learned something about scripting for AMXX though in the process... I tried adding the "z" flag to my permissions so that I would be a user, that didn't make any difference. So all in all I have no clue. Maybe the client_cmd function is borked... Tried console_cmd, same results.

what are you talking about :P but anyway.. ill look into why its not working.. |
Well I've spent the better part of the day trying to get it to work, and from what I've read, it used to work. The only thing I can think of is some update from Valve disabled the ability to force clients to execute commands.

nah i got it working now...
give me a minute :) |
Thanks :) It wasn't like I wasted the day trying to get it to work though, I learned a hell of alot about coding for AMXX in the process.... Not that I feel up to coding anything myself mind you, but I can look at the source for plugins now and pretty much figure out what is going on...

ok THIS version should work
and to explain what i did to it... before when a client was put in the server.. it would execute the command on them (which sets the particlefx cvar value and adds an alias to block ppl from changing it) but for some reason it wasnt setting it anymore.. so I just added a task that waits 1 second after they join before executing the cmd and now it works fine.. |
Was wondering if this was similar to what has been giving me so much grief with the map settings and paratrooper plugins...
