Luv the server! It is the only place I play now. I use to play on 76 AD, but one day I got redirected to Avamod and have never left since (about a month or so).

I started my fps career w/ TFC ('98-'04), started DOD in '05, deployed to Iraq, and recently started playing DOD again.

heheh well welcome to the forums :D glad you enjoy the server.. TatsuSaisei runs some fun stuff on the 76AD server..

tho what really turns me off is how he fills the server to 20 players with bots.. so half the time i play there.. there will be like 18 real players yet still 2 bots who aimbot everyone with mgs and snipers lol..

plus i hate when ff is on there and i get team wounded in the damn spawn and im stuck prone the rest of the life unless a medic actually feels like healing me..

i hate the stupid stamina prone mod, where if u sprint too far u fall down.

I got into half-life mods with TFC myself. I would mulch people with a spy. Then I got into the medic and loved Conc jumping. Flagging became my sole obsession. I was hoping TF2 would change some of the gayness. Like, soldiers and HWs being retardedly easy to play. But from what I've heard..it's exactly like TFC just with new models and graphics and such.

I luved playin conc classes too. And from what i have seen and heard TF2 is going to be completely different. The developers hated the versatility of the soldier. It sounds to me like it is very team oriented... more so than any of the current mods. For instance the hwguy cannot survive long without a medic by his side. I am looking forward to it. And the biggest change (also the one i am most scared of) is no nades. i luv my nades
