right so i formatted my pc today put windows vista ultimate on, (er yea officer its legal) i started playing dod. and i have sound but i cannot hear my gun firing i cannot hear me walking all i can hear is what the other players are doing wtf can i do

sorted it now had to change my uac, but hey vista the ultimate version is pretty good, as long as you have the 64 bit version. and a dual core cpu.
