For some reason when my brothers play xbox live is lags the hell out of my dod there using a hardline off my router not sure if this is a stupid question so feel free to own me if it is...but if anyone has any clue lmk thanks nigs.

I think you answered your own question, xbox live is causing the lag.

what router is it?

fooling around with your router settings might fix the issue. Contact your router manufacture
