speaking of demos are there any .dem converters out there cause it seems that it would less of a pain in the ass , from what Ive seen a dem file is not a media file I might be answering my own question but any body know of anything?

tutorials on how to encode videos (for dod or anything) in these codecs, requires virtualdub another tool is megui X264 (virtualdub): http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=98247 How to encode x264, very slow encoding but very high quality (looks perfect at 2000kbps for me with these settings) hud_saytext 0 voice_enable 0 hud_centerid 0 virtualdub is the way to go. http://virtualdub.sourceforge.net/ good luck noobeye.  i know gott does it all the time, ask him maybe he can help
