Cheating by spectacting

Hello, would it be possible to come and check on the server there are one individual who is using differents ID's one to play and others to spectate to locate other users, me being one of them, this is been gowing along about the last month, it is very annoying.

forgive me if I get the names wrong, its been a while since I looked lol..

but if you are talking about the one named www.AvaMods.com, thats a HLTV client..

if you mean the "Playing AvaMods Since 2007" that is nothing to worry about either, thats a client based on the server machine itself and no one is actually playing on it.


..if you mean there is someone else though, let me know the name or steamid and I can try and make some time to look into it

No I could give you his name and the2 Steam ID he is using, but you can find them in the stats, his User Name he is using at beginning was "Lorond", and now he changed for many other ones including , player, AAAMOD.COM, the last like today was FSTB , it's an individual from Danemark..

If you can come and watch you will see by yourself, he been doing this to all for at least a month or so...

Here are the details.

He was using tonight names Player & FTSB on two different steam number , STEAM_0:1:538195096 (Player), and STEAM_0:0:517740345 (FTSB). he may also have another STEAM ID, I've not been able to locate this one..

Including the printscreen with the many names he switch day after day;

well thats strange lol... there is currently 3 clients connected from the same IP for 5 hours straight right now and all 3 are sitting in spec. I kind of want to catch them on a team and talk to them lol

..and now FTSB joined, from a different IP (but he's been logged connecting from the same IP the 3 spec clients are using).. I kicked the other 3 spec clients and they reconnected and joined spectator right away.. He also does act a bit strange which I assume is when he is looking at the spectator clients.

I tried talking to him but he didnt respond so oh well

Too bad he seems to be using it to abuse the spectator system, otherwise having clients idle in spectator would have benefits lol

ok I banned 4 steam IDs and 2 IPs lol

let me know if he returns and ill keep banning IDs and any new IPs ...and I'll ban his whole damn country if I need to lol

its been about an hour and he keeps trying to rejoin and getting denied lol does he not understand when it says he is perm banned each time?

also moved this thread to the bans section.. not that it really matters but I have OCD with this stuff

Thanks many time, you are making a happy camper, is it possible to be ADMIN just for cases like that, I almost play this map every day , been playing Day of defeat since I got the game in 2004, and really enjoy this server, but less when idiots like that comes along!!!

Maybe you could check, "Lorond", he's been back on the server for 13 minutes under nickname "PVt", can he stay that long being banned?

ughh this guy lol..

he probably has a large number of steam accounts, and I would assume they are hacked/stolen.. because who would keep making accounts and buying DoD on them for such a lame 'cheat'.

and changing IPs is easy stuff with or without a vpn
