um when u ban buck, for Owning others, can u just have him banned till 10pm est time on the weekdays, so say u get mad at him for owning u or others at 5pm, abn him for 5 hrs, so i can come on and play some ava. later that night. I look foward to playin on ava when buck gets off the comp at like 10pm.

well yea he did get ban for owning someone by shooting threw the wall, i was watching him when he did kill johnny, he wasn't camping he was running the apartments and saw some one was caping the flag and just shot randomly at the wall and got him, if the ppl at steam or what ever didnt want ppl to wall then they would have made it so you couldn't shoot threw the walls and boosting, if u get another player to cooperate, with u to get a boost hows that a exploit. If theres a place to walk around and u can get to it on the map then it seems fair to me. Its no map glitch or anything. But w/e buck and i, i guess have different views/tactics on how to play the game, just that buck as a bad attitude and thinks he's all tough in the game when i don't....

But thats beside the point here, imma probly get my own account next time i am at best buy or something just so i can complain bout my own account being banned not bucks:)

I only banned him cause he repeatedly and purposely disobeyed a rule that I repeated to him several times before the ban. I don't like walling unless there is an mg, or sniper that has been sitting in a hole for 5 minutes stopping any advance. he should have at least had a little respect for the admin, and stopped being a prick.
and before anyone pulls the "they allow it in cal" card... I didnt think C:/ was called cal last time I checked...

I think Johnny is being fair there. If someone doesn't listen for repeatedly, then it's obvious some kind of action would be issued. I start using wallshot trick because someone got me through wall while I play as allies capping axis's 2nd flag. So I started just shoot all the walls where people would either hide or move by. I guess that brought up the issue of wallshot tricks. Admin asked me to stop doing that last night, so I stopped. So nothing happened. I think this server is one of the fairest server I ever played. Some servers would kick me out or switch teams so that I can not get the sniper class.

i do have fun with how i play on cdrive i just know now the whiney admins i gotta watch out for. you know the ones that cant tolerate certain tactics in the game. i mean if they can live with people proning in the most dumb random spots no one looks and getting pooped on then they should be able to tolerate a few bullets through the wall.

what i meant by that is since they allow cdrive should easily allow it..unless this is gonna turn into the lame ass server i was part of last time.. there was no no scoping and no walling. plz diamond dont let this server turn into a lame server like that.

yea i totally agree with u johnny, u as a admin should get the respect u want when u issue a warning about not doing something, then u should be listen too, unless the person doesn't want to and get kicked/ban.

Yea but walling someone when u know they are there, say u see them run from u as you're in a fire fight behind a wall i'll follow them through the wall shooting..... or say there is a mg or sniper in double window on the box and i am in red room i'll shoot through the roof and the lil wall part to kill him, same thing with sniper crack if i see a sniper rifle poking out i'll shoot at the wall to get the sniper. i mean these are a few i do, the others are just spam spots that i'll just randomly shot at as i run past, sometimes im lucky and someone is there or someone may not be there. Its all about having an advantage over your enemy, this is one of the many ways of how i gain the advantage.

But all in all as i saw in the other thread about buck joining cdrive I have been brought down with buck, and being compared to buck. for idk wut reason or why, but thats just gay. so i dont think i am anything like him in the game or on the forums.

but this discussion is good, it gets us to talk about the matter at stake here

didnt back in the day cdrive did play a little cal or cpl or something

wait what's buck doing in terms of walling? cuz i don't see anything wrong w/ walling... it's frustrating, sure, but it really is part of the game. and really useful in a lot of cases too. hell, i'm quite the fan.

as I said walling for special reasons like snipers and mg's who are stopping any progress is acceptable, that is the reason that walling is part of the game (it is written about in many map making forums). buck just abuses everything he can ^^

its a rule I state when someone breaks it, and buck is just ignorent. other admins dont have to uphold the rule, as its just my personal annoyance, but when I'm on... its not a hard one to follow...

you dont decide whats exceptable and whats not on OUR server.. Rules and decisions dont depend on what YOU think.. So if you're going to just intentionally cause problems.. We can just go back to you being on the banlist...

Ive attempted several times to be nice.. unbanning you.. removing the autogag & all the other stuff that used to happen to you on the server.. so that you could play... But instead of giving respect or appreciation in return.. you just act like you're someone special and that you deserve even more then what Ive already done...

Wait a minute, did you really ban him for accessive walling? Thats insanely sad...Walling isn't illegal in DoD, and they have it for many more games other then DoD. People who wall all the time just know how to use their headset, i don't see a problem with that. You cannot ask a person please stop walling in a DoD server because honestly there is nothing wrong with it. I can understand if there are many more problems, but if you allowed buck to come back and told him to keep walling to a minimum that is pretty fucking gay.

its not just excessive walling.. specifically... but when thats all you do for 90% of the game.. and continuously sitting in the same spot over and over shooting ppl thru the wall.. thats fucking lame..

i dont care if you shoot ppl thru walls.. i do it myself.. but i dont sit there waiting and waiting shooting player after player in the same 2 or 3 spots in the map

just dont base you style of gameplay on waiting for ppl the whole damn time so you can shoot them (and might i add being a dick to people & admins on the server at the same time)

like one spot i really really dislike.. is when he sits in the axis house (which allies have no access to) and shoots thru the wall.. hitting ppl across the little pathway (from axis 1st to 2nd flags) and kills ppl in the apts (in the room with the window over looking the 1st axis flag).. i see that as totally lame.. cause there isnt thing one any allied player can do about it.. thats basically like a player sitting in spawn and killing ppl outside it (while shooting back into spawn would be against the rules..)

and he does it more and more just to piss people off.. and at the same time is an asshole to people on the microphone.. and god forbid any of his little preteen buddies are on.. its out of control non stop talking on the mic harrassing everyone.. and he has a tendency to do the complete opposite of what an admin asks him to do several times...

so its a multitude of things added up... and its much easier to just get rid of 1 or 2 people that lack respect for other players/admins/etc then it is to make a server full of people deal with the way they act on a daily basis

i stay in same spot cause i wanna practice it till i can do it right w/o the help of that damage plugin thing. then ill move on to a new walling spot :D

I was just shooting the W crack area. Didn't want to take any chances with sniper up there. I got bored waiting for Coltron:D I know how you love to go through center and throw two nades to near Axis's first flag area. Of course Coltron asked me to stop, so I stopped. I have no problem with it. My team was awfully weak and didn't setup the good defense, that's when I had to become wallnoeck.

no its no problem noeck you did stop right away. no big deal really, although if you didnt have plezer there to protect you from when someone tells you something, i dont know what you would do.

to sum that up in a nut shell... walling is Allowed, but dont camp and shoot thru the wall aka wall camping or just plan camping :)

What if I strafe the whole time with no recoil in one room and use my wallhacks to shoot people on the other side? Like, I don't leave that room..but I don't sit in one spot? Is that wall camping? Just want some clarification before I install this stuff Krissi sent me.
