somethings stamping on your intranets..I dont know your level of computer know how. so ill explain.. when you connect to games server you dont get a direct connection, you go allover the place first (normally the fastest route as per your ISP's routing tables), so somewhere in all that mess there is a line problem or something is hogging the bandwidth. How the server affects your ping is a myth (unless its really overloaded) is really not true.. your ping is decided between you and the end host and all the crap in between same goes for tracert.. the server in the real world is less that 75 miles away from me, how ever, if I do a visual traceroute it appears to be over 200 miles away just because of all the crap that I am routed thro. there is really no easy way or explaining pings and tracert without going all nerdy |

i did the reset rate thing
im gunna try the turning off the router ( yes its wireless but it never acts like this) im assuming your mean your own router, im talking about the one that comes from the ISP.. or is that it? also try this, in the browser type 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.100.1, these are the default addresses for the routers, sometimes they show a log and you can see any issues |

i had to call my ISP, reset then reboot the modem. im all good.
