the blue screen says if yo have never seen this screen befroe restart your computer if this screen pops up again try the following options such as disabel or uninstall any anti virus program's , check harddrive config, run CHKDSK /F to check for hardrive corruption then it says STOP technical information: and there is a line with a bunch of numbers and letters that is all the nfo i think i can give this sucks |

ok you said you tried safe mode , try with no networking.. also try with a command prompt.. now i need to know word for word what the blue screen says.. when it says stop.. i need you to write down the error and the numbers.. and either PM me here or post them here.. I can figure out whats up with those errors.. if you can get to the deskop via safemode.. keep it there and ill check back later and does the old pc and the new one have a floppy drive?, if so ill make you a boot disk with the restore function activated (im assuming that your XP and your system restore is turned on) |

Well here it is "A problem has been detected and windows has been shutdown to prevent damage to your computer.
If this is the first time you've seen this stop error screen, restart your computer . If this screen appears again follow these steps: Disable or uninstall any anti-virus, disk defragmentation or backup utilities, check your hardrive configuration, and check for any updated drivers, Run CHKDSK /F to check for hardrive corruption, and then restart your computer. Technical information *** STOP: 0x00000024 (0x00190203,0x82391248,0xC0000102,0x00000000) |
