Ugh. I played the free trial, and it is almost like work. There's no satisfaction, the only two reasons i can see why people would enjoy it, pwning noobs and showing off 'rare equipment'. Now pwning noobs in that game is always a game of 'who has the bigger stick' with out a whole lot of strategy, mind you sometimes its spells or what not but the concept is the same. and to get said stick you have to spend hours thwomping mob after mob after mob 90% of the game is go here kill X amount of whats its and come back. Not to mention the walking forever after you die bit, but i digress. I tried it, didnt find it very fun, i guess the mmorpg craze is not for me.

Yes and no while i only play against human players in DOD i get the sweet satisfaction of pwning them while we are all on even ground and plus you dont have to pay/work for it :P. PLus human players can change thier stategy and attack from differnt agles and weapons. ect..

sounds like a pvp battleground or arena too me. =P

i love bgs.. except for when theres 3 rogues walking around together/ or just if the alliance turtle

im a Wow player and have been for a year or 2 now.. it s a nice welcome break from DoD, esp since now my wrists are all stitched up and trying to heal.

Thing about Wow Its time comsuming, but its rewarding.. 4-7 hours play is nothing for me in that time I lvl'd 5 times.. i enjoy it.. I'm a warrior tank so the nubs pay me to Run the dungeons for them and I get payed soooo.. also.. i sell gold :).. yes i sell Wow gold and im not chinese... 500G for $10.00 so the game earns me money too , real money... last night I made 75 bucks.. playing wow.. hmmm, now I dont have all that gold... I belong to a distro network, BUT i do buy it in 5k lots.. to sell to guild mates.. :)

to be honest, i have never payed for DoD i orginally got CS 1.1 wayyy back in the day and downloaded DoD when it was a patch and been there ever since :0
