Quick question/comment
 

I was just banned from both servers for using a "fast firing script" ... I had the carbine and I used the option to make housewhell up fire. SO it says im "scripting" well its nice to know that im banned for 24 hours. Id like to talk to someone about how this hl guard works. Ill make myself clear and say that I HATE SCRIPS AND DONT USE THEM FFS. This hl guard has made me angry, but I suppose It was just doing its job :rolleyes: .

Well on a lighter note, Id like to say that the new servers are really great and that I <3 them even more then before I went "on vacation from dod" aka University. Well 'm glad to be back and I am surprised at how many people are on these days , its great! Ow and I thought that sense I have never put my little speel about myself, id do it here for all to see.

My bio: I live in Ns its cold here 9-10 months of the year,,how fun. I attend Dalhousie University located in the delighful city og Halifax Nova Scotia. I hope to be a political science/histoty of war 1812-present day major when i'm done university. I like skating (ice) watching hockey/basketball and long walks on the beach. Well how did I start playing dod? Well unlike a lot of dod players I didn't start with cs, I started with MOHAA and played that until the 56k lagging made me want to scream/ tear the wires out of my pc. So a friend introduced me to dod and I started playing, I was awful, but I got better and found that ava servers always had lots of people so I looked for a good ava server. I stumbeled on c drive one late October afternoon and started playing. I kept comming back again and again and eventually I got to know some c dive guys. They seemed to be relaxed and tallented (Urban taught me everything about dod). Actually Urban was probablly the person on c drive who I pled with the most on the server when he used to play. I alos found that all of the c drive guys brought their own thing to the server and I just felt so warm and loved. Vizzer was also soo nice and inviting whenever I played with him :rolleyes: . Well one day I asjed Urabn if I could join and he said yes, I put the c drive tag on and was kicked, then banned becuase he ddint ask anyone elese about it. Wow that was fun. That was quickly resolved and things were brought to order. I have been with c drive sinse then and I hope to be until my wrists fall off and my eyes go blind or I find anothergame to play thats a s much fun as this ;)

Scripts have always been an iffy topic. The argument is simple, half-life binded an option to adjust game play variables. Your not actually 'modifying' memory in the game. Its quite simple to make a no-recoil script, and make it work to a tea ;-). I think if anyone has given themself an advantage over others using third party whatever, that would include scripts, is no good, but technically, your not hacking. What do you guys think?

Ty diamond, I didnt expect such a detailed explanation I'm extremly pleased and satisfied knowing exactly what I did wrong! :D . I have learned my lesson, mousewhell and attack = one huge smack with the ban stick :eek:

I was wondering if the "Junior member" could be changed to Member or something like "RIP [m.y.g.0.t] , thanks I know its probablly frustrating to change it and im thankful its not "noob" like vizzer used to have it set as. If someone could change that it would be greatly appreciated. Merry x - mas btw, and happy newyears..we must all tell our newyears stories and see who got messed up the most "drunk..etc" My vote is for diamond, with pope in a close second place :rolleyes: .

urban was/is a nigger. If you didn't notice there are people left out on the member's list and the retired/inactive section also. They are the ones we have wanted to forget about. I'm not dissing you guys personally, however, Vizzer and Urban went on recruiting sprees and let everyone and anyone on the server in. Pope wasn't even ever talked to about alot of the newer people. Who was urban anyway? I've been in C Drive for like 2 years and one day urban comes on and people say "URBAN LET ME IN." ya see what I'm getting at? Don't take it personally Wenchmart, I like you I don't have any problem with you. There were lots though. I'm just filling ya in on why those people were problems and why they ruined C drive. Yes they did ruin it. Notice none of the oldies play anymore except for Pope and I (diamond too), because it's just not the same. Not the same group of guys we once had. I know that's the case with a few people who don't play anymore. There ya have it though. I think I was the one who originally booted you when Urban let you in. I figured I'd explain to you my reasoning behind it at the time.

Hey Sim, glad to hear that you will be playing again soon, well not to soon, dont rush back to school or anything so you can play dod :rolleyes: . Nick.. it wasnt a script I hate scripts..they take away a perons self worth..and I'm not going to lesson mine anymore by sinking to a scripting level. All I did was go to options and press enter then mousewhell up and mousewhell down were set to fire. Thank you Quick for the explanation..I dont want to make things difficult, I realize that you dont know me very well, but I'm a nice guy and I won't cuase you any trouble. I was playing when you went away from dod for that time, It must be wierd coming back and seeing people in C:/ who you arent familiar with. As for the banning thing its understandable at the time, I wouldnt want someone just jumping aboard my ship without a bit of info :) . I didn't even realize that C:/ drive was being wrecked, I probably don't even know how frustrating that is sense I personally have never had the experience of starting a community, server and keeping it toagther and I'm sure that keeping it running with good people and no ass hats is hard to do. I respect the fact that you cut to the chase and told me straight up how things were/are. I hope that theres lots of sunny days on avalanche for all of us down the road. Ow yeah on anzio to, <3 diamond.

Yea, I wanted to level with you on that particular situation, everyone for that matter. This is C Drive right now and I'm satisfied with the group of guys. I'm sure Pope and Diamond are as well.

well, to make some corrections..

these "recruiting sprees" got you people like matt (akrama) and charles (standing sex)

and i have played DoD since C:/ started, and have continued to play. since C:/ has been down, and has even gone back up, i've been playing for a cal-m team (before cal-m and cal-im merged). so yes, the "oldies" do still play. at least this oldie does.

mmmmmmm charles.. he makes me wet :cool: I just spoke to him, he is still in NY being a student but he was nice enuff to model some crotchless panties i made for him on the webcam :D
