Anyone else having trouble connecting to the Steam servers?

not i, but hawkeye and jonny auto are... i cant conect to friends list..I was wondering why the server was empty.. I bet lots cant get on

i got mine to work after deleting the clientregistry.blob (in the steam dir) and restarting steam...

There is currently a wide spread power outage in Bellevue/Seattle impacting Steam Server availability. Unfortunately ETA for when the power will be restored is unknown as the power company will only work on restoring it once the storm has eased and the high winds have died down.

Any issues you are experiencing with connecting to Steam are only temporary, as this isn't an end-user issue.

its not werking for me either. i think this effects only eastern players cuz im in NY and im not sure by you guys (also hawk, watch ure double+ postage O.o)

strange how for some it works and for others not... that lady red is from uk and she got it working... so why doesnt mine? >.<
