aye was a good weekend, was supposed to be around 280 Axis and 190 Allies, but had a huge storm the friday before and that dumped a few inches of snow, so the numbers were reduced as people could couldnt get to the event. blanks.. the weapons the vehicles and other stuff are real pre 1945, the kars are real the mg42/34's are real, we use blanks, its Kind of on the honour system if you take your hit, but put it this way, if you decided to run to a MG nest you had better drop and remove the helmet (sign that ur dead) Cos a 42 will cut you down, same with rifles, you can see if a allie has his Grarand or what ever pointed at you in the distance, you just take your hit.. bit like theater The ranks are the same, we have over all commanders, we have proper maps we speak german, we do propler tactical manovers, we sleep in zeltbahns (tents) when no barracks or shelter is availalble. all sorts of stuff... those pics are really nice. the tiger was sweet but i could tell it was a T-34 by the suspension. but it still looks really nice.
