it came from a really bad joke i made to a history teacher. i asked "hey where are all the happy pictures from the holocaust, kickball, arts and crafts? they were at camp right? ? ? "

the teacher got pretty mad and threw a book about the holocaust at me and told me to find a happy picture. (i found a pic Hitler doing a jig, which didn't make the situation better)

the sketch may not be historically accurate but it gets the point across.
