Default .sma files

When I download some of the dod mods, some of the files have .sma at the end.
All my other plygins have .amxx at the end.

Where do I put those files???
And after I do install them, how do I turn them on?

an sma file is the source code... you have to compile them to a .amxx file

if you want to do it locally (which is easy and good to know how to do anyways...) you can click HERE for a tutorial

or you can use an online compiler like SUCH

type amx_plugins (or rcon amxx plugins) to get a printout of your plugins on the server...

and it should say the plugin - version - author - filename - status
or something similar lol...

under the status part it should say whether its running or not..

umm off the top of my head...

i believe you enable the mapchooser.amxx plugin & put the 3 maps you want in the maps.ini (in the amxmodx/configs/ folder)

if that doesnt work let me know.. and ill check for sure.. kinda busy right now.. got a buttload of spyware & virus' last night... lol trying to avoid a reformat
