To White or Not to White..

Ok so a guy was on the server using that white glitch.. I know it can be helpful in the snow maps, but not really on hill.. is this acceptable? Or should he be made to adjust his coloring?

Oh that guy, it seems on this server when it comes to certain player modifications that give them an edge over regular players. There if much confusion over what is to be done to them. Whether it is a power strip, or fast deploy, or fast scope, or even a white glitch.

If we are going to addressee this issue we may as well addressee the others.

I personally don't approve of any such mod, or at the very least if allowed the mod should be made public so all can experience it.

But realistically not every soldier has the same abilities. Some could argue that others are fast on the draw or more accurate. It would make sense if one were able to run faster or scope sharper or even blend in with his environment.

But these are natural attributes to modified abilities. On a platform where everything is made to be balanced and the only edge intended are the ones you bring with your person, not your machine.

But I welcome these differences, even though morally I don't approve. It adds spice to my rice, and if everything is the same the game gets boring. Besides we rarely play snow levels for very long, most of the time its hill this and ava that.

Let him be white, personally whenever I see him I like to pick on him with my rifle. As the old axiom goes... "Some sniper's going to get his ass".

yea its not a mod. its when you choose the mortar class with console. i dont see it giving u anything on hill except the ability to get killed easier; theres nothing white on the map.

i remember i tried this once hlguard banned me.. along with spec exploit.. yet they mostly fixed the spec exploit

hlguard doesnt ban for that..

but he shouldnt have been able to do the mortar class glitch as i swear i have it blocked with an amxx plugin

im gonna look into why it isnt blocking it.. unless he's doing something diff then the mortar class
