Hey guys i'm sure by now most of you know who I am, I am in your server as much as I can. A little about me I'm 21 and I do construction for a living. I've been playing DOD for a couple of years now and I really must say Avamods is by far the most creative and fun server I have ever played on (and I'm not just saying that) If you have played with me you know I love having fun in the server and I do talk a lot. :D As I do say often I would love to be a part of your team, (if you'll have me of course) mostly because I am in there a lot lol and because I like all of the avamods members (yes even you trix :P). lol, I drink GHB?. Excuse me if I happen to think falaise is a pile of shit with more corners and windows to hide in than northbound. The map doesnt flow well and is quite huge for 3v2 at the time. I love anzio, donner, harrington, pandemic_aim, lennon, solitude, railroad, etc.

Why do you care what map we're playing on? Are you wondering if your chances of owning my ass are any better on a different one? They're pretty good as it is, and I don't think they get any better than you proning with a barpod by W waiting for me to come through the hallway, lol. =]

Can I speak freely or are we just going to assume I'm bitching about everything? I'm not, that's not why I come here. I enjoy the server and have a lot of fun.

Here's how i see it, and not everyone will agree, that's ok. There are different levels of how gay a certain playing style can be.

We have at the gayest level; someone who camps/prones/sprays with a thompson on their half of the map be it in or around their own spawn.

Then we have people who will grab up a bar or any auto for that matter and hang out in a dark corner, or behind the bookcase, or on top of blue stairs in the apartments - Namely Pastadental, waiting for anything to walk through a door.

And then there's me, who will walk straight up the middle of the map as often as possible with a rifle, at the very least aiming and not spraying. I just subconsciously b-line for the furthest thing from my spawn and stick with it. Everyone bitches about the camping _after_ i've already made it that far without dying. I'm not saying it's often, but it happens.

But really, what else is there to do? It isnt a team match, you aren't playing for a league record, there are no rewards/benefits/motivation to capping out a map in a public server. You get sent back to the spawn just like you do when you die, but even worse because now the entire enemy team is alive now, and then there's like a 5 second freeze before you can move or do anything. Oh, and I love fighting a bunch of teammates for position up the hill who decide to stop in order to prime their nades as well, that's definitely not a cause of rage.

I camp just as much as worst dod player, the difference is that I suck and get killed over and over again, and worst just kills over and over again. Its not like he sits somewhere with a machine gun, he does what most people do when there on axis and its to go to the allies apartment.

the objective of the game is too cap flags, you have a flag counter just like a kill counter...a football player doesn't break 5 tackles, and an 80 yard run, just to turn around at the 1 yard line and run back and break more tackles...In summary I still have a better head shot percentage than all of you!

Noooo thanks, lol. I used to admin an old server called Ava Chaos a few years ago. It's a very thankless job that requires a shitload of time and patience. I've also donated quite a bit of time to anticheat work reviewing demos for steambans. It's no fun and you get burned out on people's stupidity real quick. I think my email still has about 600mb of demos that were sent in a very long time ago.

Buck, if the stats werent down right now i'd like to point out just how many more hours the server is on avalanche as opposed to any other map. I'm not sure, but I would think it's just ridiculous. I do in fact love a lot of other maps.

I welcome the type of criticism given lately, it's all good. If I can click my mouse in a video game without running my mouth and still make people rage like a 12 year olds suffering from bipolar disorder than I feel like im doing something right. =]

okay take the NFL, CFL, EUROFL, and the ArenaFL out of it, and you've got a saturday afternoon playing with your friends, and a few others. Both teams push to the 20 yard line several times but never score (the other teams second flag), then finally you break a few tackles and get to their 1 yard line. You don't turn around start dancing back around people trying to tackle you (that's called smear the queer). OR since avamods you need 2 to cap the last flag, your the WR down the field at that point that needs to make a block so your RB or other WR (the other players) can get to the endzone.

In all honesty anyone can run around the other teams base and shoot them in the back, but i see it as a bit more of a challenge to sit at the others team first, or cap the second while trying to avoid nades, and shoot people coming from several different directions.

I am a fan of worst so don't take this as an attack, I've found myself sitting in the other teams base with not a whole lot to do, so I can see where you're coming from, I just take the more challenging route.
