Default Encourage capping.

I'd like to see a reward system for capping flags. Like, maybe you always get full health, and sometimes you get -goodies-. Extra ammo, nades, special weaponry, over 100 health, etc. Kind of a way to discourage the pointless camping. Now, I understand the board isn't infinitely spaced and camping has its uses. But we've all been on hill and watched an entire team sit at spawn and try to kill hoes. Or my personal favorite--walk right by a fucking flag and/or camp right next to it. Just be nice to reward people actually advancing their team and the game.

omg, i would LOVE something like that!! God knows my shooting skills leave ALOT to be desired! It would be nice to get some benefit from being the team "flag capper"

yea krissy you cap alot of flags, i was in one server b4 that awarded like 10 hp for knifing someone O.o

I think an extra nade is a no no for hill as it would encourage a nade into axis spawn... but I dunno... health restore or something could work...

Default Percentages dear lad.

It would just be a random thing. (Except for like the bonus health).

So, you'd cap. Get 100 health. Then it would randomly determine if you get any leet shit. You could make it like only 10% of the time you get something. Then make a table to determine the special thing.

So...ghetto flow chart incoming:

If !(rand(100) > 10) {
new FUCKINGVAR;
FUCKINGVAR = rand(NUMBEROFITEMSHERE);
case FUCKINGVAR {
SWITCHTESTS;
}
}

Fear the pieced together code...in any case..you get the idea. So it's not like you'd always 1) Get something and 2) Get a nade for spawn spamming.

Restored health is a really good idea. Extra ammo is good for automatic weapons, extra gernades would be a problem. Like jonny said nading the spawn would be a no no.

But maybe if you capture like 2 in a row you'd get the health benefit. 3 in a row is too much. and 1 capture heals would interupt "fair" gun battles between 2 skilled players.

Has anyone else noticed that it was santa who posted this? lofl sniper whore! But he has been a good boy recently.

Since you obviously don't pay attention to score boards dear Viper...I play a sniper and almost always am in the top 3 for caps. ;0

Default Score Rewards

Well there is a plugin called Score Rewards that kind of does what you are describing. I've seen it used elsewhere to good effect. Plus the invisbility reward allows you to go around surprising people by stabbing them in the face... so much fun.

I hate rewards, mainly because of the big text that comes up on the screen announcing it.
